Sports and heroes

Sports are all forms of competitive physical activity which, through casual or organized participation, aim to use improve physical ability and skills while providing entertainment to participants and spectators.

Heroes are people who are admired for their courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities.

Examples of sports heroes are:

1. Basketball -Michael Jordan 

2. Distance runner –Terry fox

3. Boxing –Muhammed Ali

4. Tennis –Serena Williams

5. Football –Cristiano Ronaldo

6. Hockey –Shelley Russell

7. 100m, 200 sprints and long jump –Chioma Ajunwa
