Definition of community services.

Community service is the activity that is performed by someone or group of people for the benefit of a community.

It is obvious that the government may not be able to provide everything for the citizens. As such, it is necessary for people to complement government effort in making life more comfortable for everyone.

Types of community services

1. Clearing street drainage to prevent flooding.

2.Clearing path ways

3. Construction of wooden bridges to link streets within a community.

4. The building of community halls.
