The concepts of election, voters and voting

The election is a concept used in all democratic countries where people are called to make choices among candidates or contestants who wish to rule.

The voter is the qualified and registered citizen willing and ready to vote for candidates of their choices in an election.

Voting is the process of casting one’s vote in an election.

In Nigeria, the general election is conducted every four years by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
