There are various forms of energy. They are:

1.Heat energy: This the energy transmitted due to differences in temperature.

2.Light energy: This is the energy that causes the sensation of sight. Light energy from the sun is used by plants for food production.

3.Sound energy: It is produced during the vibration of objects e.g. beating a drum.

4.Chemical energy: Is the energy obtained from the reactions of substances.

5. Mechanical energy: It is energy in an object due to its motion.

6. Electrical energy: It is the energy obtained as a result of the movement of electrons in some material or body.
