Definition of time

Time is the measured or measurable period during which an action, process, or condition exists or continues.

Instruments for measuring time include the following, ancient period people or know time using the sun rising and its setting, the moon's length of the shadow, star, cock crow and hourglass. In modern times, that’s this era we use the clock, stopwatch, hourglass or calendar.
