Student should be able to explain:

 i. means of safeguarding human rights

Means for safeguarding Human Rights

1. Protections of citizen's rights: It equally ensures constitution protection of human rights.

2. To effect a change: For government to effect change on inhuman treatment to citizens.

3. To seek redness: To enable citizens to seek redress for violation of their rights in law courts.

4. It is to comply with U.N.O's directive and standard.

5. To prevent dictatorship: The needs for safeguarding fundamental human rights in the constitution is to prevent dictatorship i.e limiting the powers of the rulers.
