Performance Objectives

Students should be able to;

1. Explain the concept of equilibrium

2. Distinguish between static and dynamic equilibrium

3. Derive the range maximum height and time of flight

Resultant force


This can be defined as a single force which can produce the same effect as the combined force on a system.  The addition of two or more forces produces the resultant force. The resultant of any system of force can be obtained through any of the processes described earlier.
