2. Roles of responsible parenthood e.g. providing for the household, caring, good home training, education etc.

Meaning of Responsible Parenthood

A caring and responsible parent should be able to detect the need, happiness, problems, nature of his or her family and children, and be able to heed and cater for them according to his or her capability.

Responsible parenthood is "the will and ability of parents to respect and do the needs and aspirations of the family and children."

Roles of Responsible Parenthood

Family fund

It is the first priority and duty of a father to provide the primary fund - money needed by the family.

Protection and defence

it is the responsibility of a father to protect and defend his family members in times of troubles of any kind of sickness.

Assurance of peace

It is the priority and duty of a father to ensure that unity, peace, love and harmony reign within his family.

Provision of basic needs

It is the priority and duty of a father to provide the basic needs of his family such as accommodation, clothing, feeding, etc.

Overseer of basic roles

It is the priority and duty of a father to oversee the roles or duties of the family members and call them to order and obedience whenever the need arises.

Ensuring proper upbringing

It is the priority and duty of a father to ensure the proper upbringing of his children.

Neatness role

It is the duty of a responsible mother to keep the house tidy for her family.

Training of children

It is the priority and duty of a responsible mother to train her children on basic household chores, etc.

Love and care role

It is the priority and duty of a mother to teach and show love and care to every member of her family.

Kitchen role

lt is the priority and duty of a mother to prepare meals and carry out every kitchen-related roles for the family.

Total support

It is the priority and the duty of a mother to support her family, mostly her husband in all the roles required of a responsible mother like financial support, etc.
