Content

Virus is an extremely tiny organism that can only reproduce if it is within a living being. Virus is smaller than bacteria and it can be contagious and infectious. Examples of virus diseases in farm animals are foot and mouth disease, rinderpest, Newcastle and swine fever or hog cholera.

1. Foot and mouth disease: This disease is common in areas with poor drainage and high humidity. The animals affected are cattle, goat, sheep and pig.
