Performance Objectives

Student should be able to:

      1. Define the crop plant.

   2. Identify crop plant forms

     3.  Differentiate between monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous plant

     4.  Draw and label the parts of monocot and dicot plants.


The word crop plant is gotten from the combination of two words and they are CROP and PLANT.

A crop is a cultivated plant that is grown on a small or large scale. Examples are cereals, vegetables or fruits.

A plant is a living thing that grows in the earth or water and it has stems, leaves, fruits and roots.
